At the outset, in the name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ who has given us this Prestigious Institute out of His plenteous bounty, I extend to you a hearty and cordial welcome. May the good Lord be with you throughout your so journ here and lead you forth towards success and happiness.
The C.S.I. Institute of Technology is a Christian Minority Institute, established in 1995 by the Church of South India (C.S.I.) kanyakumari Diocese which is a pioneer in the field of education. It was established for imparting high quality engineering education to the students. Its ultimate goal is to emphasize Christian moral values and to mould every student to become fit to face the challenges of advancing technology.
The Institute continues to organize various programmes and campus activities to draw out all the potentials in Students, to inculcate in them social, moral and spiritual values so that they may be able to strike proper human relationship with others in the campus, grow up and become worthy children of God the Almighty in whom we exist and without whom we can achieve nothing. Being a wing of the C.S.I. kanyakumari Diocese and as a temple of learning, everything we impart to you here is Christ-centered whose abundant grace, compassion and fullness of sprit will ever abide with you, sustain and strengthen you in understanding your lessons, in achieving success, in finding a job and in satisfying all your material and spiritual needs. One of my favourite verses is: "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with my eye". So, hold on to His hands and go ahead.
As the principal of this Institute, I look forward to meeting you when you come here to join us and become a member of this highly esteemed, educated and peace-loving campus community. I do not have even the least shadow of doubt that the Institute will give you the best and fulfill all you ambitions and aspirations and help you carve out a niche for you in this temple of fame and achieve a distinct identity for yourself and for the institute as well.
