The department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering moves with a vision to produce competent and disciplined Electrical and Electronics Engineers. The department is committed to offer strong under graduate and post graduate courses. At the time of its inception in 1995, the college offered U.G Programme in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and during the academic year 2007 – 2008 PG Programme in Power Electronics & Drives was introduced. The Faculty members are highly qualified. They are experienced and dedicated with high degree of academic and professional competency. This team of faculty provides the best interactive teaching environment, in time with rapid change in technology. They are with doctoral and master degrees in major areas like Power Systems, Control Systems, Power Electronics & Drives, Control and Instrumentation and Applied Electronics. Our faculty members gone as Guest lecturers in the faculty development programme organized by Anna University, Presented papers in National & International conferences, attended workshops, seminars etc. to update their technical skills.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was established in the year 1995. The department offers B. E degree and M. E degree in Power Electronics and Drives. The department has a team of well qualified, motivated faculty members with above 15 to 30 years of experience, to prepare the young minds of students for global competition. The final year students of the department regularly appear for the placement programmes conducted in our campus and are placed in government sectors, top level private sectors and in IT companies. The Department has always strived for excellence—not just in academics, but also in co-curricular and extra-curricular pursuits. Over the past academic year, our department has witnessed remarkable achievements in both academics and co-curricular activities. Our students and faculty have actively participated in various workshops, technical symposiums and research initiatives, showcasing their talents and bringing accolades to the institution.
