The department of Information Technology was established in the year 2001 with a motive of imparting high qualiy technical education in the field of Information Technology. The department provides high-end professional education to develop human resources with well acquainted knowledge and skills in the field of Information Technology. The department promotes lifetime values and aims at moulding all the students to a disciplined conduct and to be socially responsible, strong minded technocrats by a joint venture of students themselves and the faculties.

The department of Information Technology was established in the year 2001 with an annual intake of 60 students, to offer a four-year undergraduate programme, B.Tech., in Information Technology. As of today, the department offers both B.Tech. (UG) and M.Tech. (PG) degree programmes. The department aims in offering a congenial and disciplined learning environment, inculcating moral and ethical values among the students. The main strength of our department is the qualified and well-experienced faculties - 1 Ph.D. holder and 6 M.E. / M.Tech. Degree holders; each having more than 10 to 20 years of teaching experience.
